[Claude had mentioned the quest he'd spotted on the dark web in passing to Flayn, first as a joke. He often scoured it for information, but most of the quests crossed a morally dubious line not even Claude was interested in meddling with. This one, however, that involved wearing a tiger's eye stone and... well... getting friendly with one another in the forest as part of a ritual to abate the snow. It almost seemed like a joke, at least at first.

But of course, it's Avalon, and no ritual here is too outlandish. Flayn had been prepared to do it, and Claude had to admit the idea did hold a certain appeal, and it was as good an excuse as any.

Which is why, as they head deep into the forest, Claude fishes a couple of the tiger's eye necklaces he'd procured from his pocket, putting one on for himself and offering the other to Flayn. Before she can take it, though, he whips it out of reach with a grin.]

Are you sure you want to do this? Are you sure that you're sure? Absolutely positively?

[Joking aside, he does want to make sure she's comfortable with the situation and not just going along with it on an impulse.]
